The model NS1 NanoSpectralyzer from Applied NanoFluorescence is a laboratory instrument comprised of hardware and software designed to characterize samples of single-walled carbon nanotubes. The manufacturer said its efficient optical system captures near-infrared fluorescence and absorption spectra, which are then automatically interpreted to provide the user with detailed reports on a sample's composition.

The NanoSpectralyzer, which is based on research findings in nanotube spectroscopy, provides near-infrared fluorescence and absorption spectra automatic (n, m) distributions in seconds.
