Designed for high-speed laser pump-probe spectroscopy, the femtosecond laser pulse acquisition system from Infrared Systems Development Corp. provides 16- to 1024-channel simultaneous sampling from multi-element HgCdTe detector arrays. The company says it integrates and captures detector signals from short-pulse, high-energy laser systems with excellent linearity and true 16-bit resolution. The system has inputs for monitoring stepper motor positions and outputs for controlling mirror path length position. It includes preamplifiers, integrators, multiplexers, a 16-bit A/D converter, FIFO memory, a digital I/O computer card and a host computer system with custom Labview software.
