nLightDymax Corp. has released a line of modular flood and focused beam light sources, including reflectors, power supplies, shields and stands, and shutters. Constructed of lightweight brushed aluminum, they can be mounted onto pre-existing rotary indexing tables or conveyors, or assembled from a menu of modules and mounted in complete curing stations or on conveyors. The company says they are designed for easy and cost-effective polymerization of light-curing ultraviolet adhesives and coatings, most of which can be cured in 1 to 5 s. All shield/stand modules allow complete viewing of the curing process and are height adjustable. Shutters open manually or automatically for timed exposure of parts to light.
