Request InfoArmstrong Optical Ltd.The ProWatcherpulse system from Armstrong Optical Ltd. monitors spot welding in real time and integrates noninvasively with most Nd:YAG laser systems. It also monitors the plasma plume generated by the welding process and analyzes its overall intensity and temporal decay characteristics. This allows automatic assessment of parameters such as laser power delivered to the weld and component variation. The system rejects faulty components and alerts the user if a weld does not comply with specifications. The data can be assessed over time to show overall system variance.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSVision Spectra Winter 2022 IssueSWIR CamerasThe ImageIR® 8100 and ImageIR® 9100 SWIR cameras from InfraTec GmbH are high resolution and radiometrically calibrated for temperatures between 300° and 1700 °C.
