Request InfoFirst Sensor Inc.Pacific Silicon Sensor Inc. has introduced the PSS-AD230-2.3G-TO5, an avalanche photodiode with a 230-µm diameter that is housed with a high-speed transimpedance amplifier in a hermetically sealed TO-5 can. The instrument responds to light in the 350- to 1000-nm range and is suitable for free-space optical communications and other high-speed data transfer applications. It provides an output of 40 mV peak to peak for an input of 1 µW at 880 nm, achieving a data bandwidth of up to 2.3 GHz.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra April 2023 IssueLaser Phase Lock SystemThe OE5000 Hi-Q Laser Phase Lock System from OEwaves Inc. allows the offset locking of two individual lasers separated in frequency by as much as 50 GHz.
