TeraXion has introduced a line of low-dispersion 50- and 100-GHz DWDM filters for transmission speeds from 10 to 40 Gb/s. The TF-WDM-LD filters are designed to minimize group delay variation in and outside of their passband, enabling high-performance DWDM system deployments and reducing the level of chromatic dispersion introduced by the filter to the selected channel and to the adjacent and nonadjacent express channels. The group delay variation at 40 Gb/s is <10 ps.
