The Compass 215M from Coherent Laser Div. is a diode-pumped solid-state continuous-wave laser. It emits at 532 nm and is designed for the bioinstrumentation and photofinishing markets as an economical, low-noise, highly reliable green laser source. It can also be paired with the company's Sapphire optically pumped semiconductor laser that emits in the blue region to give users a unique blue/green wavelength combination. The device is conductively cooled, features a TEM00 beam profile and uses an intracavity frequency-doubling crystal to change IR emissions to the green wavelength.
