A low-viscosity, optically clear epoxy that bonds to metals, plastics and glass has been released by Master Bond Inc. Designed for cryogenic applications, EP29LPSP-1 has a temperature range from 4 K to 250 °F and provides high tensile strength and low shrinkage upon cure. The company says it also is an excellent sealant and coating. The epoxy has a mix ratio by weight of 100:65, has a pot life of more than 6 h and cures in 8 to 12 h at 60 °C.
