INO's new OC-VGA 12000 optical correlator achieves processing speeds of 120 fps and can handle live and still 512 x 480-pixel images with 256 gray levels. It is suitable for pattern recognition, security authentication, target tracking, quality control, position evaluation and numbering, rotation and scale evaluation, filtering and other real-time vision applications. Rugged and compact, this portable device weighs 10 kg and comes with software that runs under Windows 2000. The software handles display and capture operations, provides advanced correlation analysis and achieves remote hardware control via an RS-232 interface. The correlator is available for 120-V/60-Hz and 230-V/50-Hz power supply systems.
