Femto Messtechnik GmbH has announced its LIA-MV-200 series of compact lock-in amplifiers, suitable for such applications as spectroscopy and luminescence, fluorescence, phosphorescence and light-scattering measurements. These single- and dual-phase devices offer aluminum housings of ~65 x 105 x 223 mm. Both types feature working frequencies of 5 Hz to 10 kHz and 50 Hz to 120 kHz. Users may select settings for sensitivity, time constants and phase using local switches or by remote control through opto-isolated digital inputs. The devices feature voltage- and current-type input amplifiers and, the company says, produce very low noise.
