ROTATION MIRROR

Photonics Spectra
Jun 2002
General Photonics Corp.Request Info

A fiber optic polarization rotation mirror with a 90° Faraday rotation angle is available from General Photonics Corp. The FRM-001 can be used to eliminate polarization sensitivity in fiber interferometers, sensors and lasers; Brillouin amplifiers; and fiber optic modules. The mirror has an epoxy-free optical path and a typical insertion loss of 0.3 dB over the operating temperature range from -20 to 60 °C. A NoTail version is available, which eliminates pigtail handling and optical path delay.
