Adept Technology Inc. has introduced an epoxy bonding system for the alignment, bonding and in-line testing of active and passive component assemblies, including fiber collimators, filters, couplers and planar waveguides. The NanoBonder EBS is designed to minimize alignment and bonding cycle times and to maximize production yields. It includes integrated alignment stages, tooling for adhesive dispensing and intuitive process software. The system can be upgraded for future application requirements with vision guidance tools, automatic adhesive dispensing and integrated UV or thermal cure process equipment.
