The EasyGauge measurement and dimension control library from Euresys SA uses subpixel edge detection and least-squares fitting algorithms to determine the position, size and curvature of manufactured parts. Suitable for gauging applications, the library features edge-point selection mechanisms that measure in cluttered images; supports the adjustment of parallel sides for measuring the thickness of flat or bent objects; and determines and corrects perspective and optical distortion. Featuring built-in calibration capabilities, EasyGauge supports the grouping of the measurement gauges, allowing tracking of measured items in the image. The library integrates into end-user applications.
