ÅngströmBond AB9031 from Fiber Optic Center Inc. is a low-stress, epoxy-based, ultraviolet curing adhesive that bonds to metal, ceramic, silicon, plastic and glass. It contains an advanced optical silica filler that contributes to low shrinkage and a low thermal expansion coefficient. The company says that the adhesive has passed stringent specifications, including 1000 h in an 85/85 environment, and that it has strong chemical resistance. A creamy paste, it is applied via standard syringes or automated cartridge dispensers.
