Power/wave heads from ILX Lightwave Corp. measure up to 10 W from laser diodes, including Raman pumps and fiber lasers. The OMH-6795B series is designed to accurately measure optical power and wavelength from 1200 to 1650 nm through connectorized fiber devices or bare fiber with either connector adapters or the BF-820 bare fiber holder. Their integrating sphere design allows a polarization-dependent response of ±0.002 dB. The fiber light exit port connects to an OSA or other measurement instrument. The devices can be used with the OMM-6810B optical multimeter and with the LPA-9080 series laser diode parameter analyzers.
