The Model 13 Plus Steady-Lite from StockerYale Inc. is a fluorescent illuminator for inspection, imaging, microscopy and medical applications. This lighting system uses an 85-kHz driver to provide variable intensity control and has a flicker-free dimming range from 100% to 10%. The lamps have a circular configuration and a filament designed for maximum output for more than 7000 h. Accessories include a polarizer kit for controlling the intensity of transmitted light in applications involving reflective materials, and a remote intensity control kit that allows the unit to be mounted at a distance.
