The AvaSpec fiber optic spectroscopy platform from Avantes is suitable for applications in the UV-VIS-NIR range. Features include a 14-bit multichannel AD converter, an onboard microprocessor and a USB/RS-232 interface. Photodiode, CCD and CMOS detector arrays with 102 to 2048 pixels can be integrated into the optical bench. Benches with 45- or 75-mm focal lengths are available for measurements from 200 to 1100 nm with resolution up to 0.1 nm FWHM. Options include UV-enhanced detector coatings, slits and filters. The device can be configured to take spectra from up to eight channels simultaneously with an integration time of 2 ms.
