NufernRequest Info

Nufern has released 980-nm photosensitive polarization-maintaining fiber suitable for gratings fabrication. Used in pump diodes, couplers and multiplexers, PS-PM980 fiber provides attenuation of ≤3.0 dB/km and crosstalk between axes of ≤25 dB for 100 m and ≤-40 dB for 2 m. Beat length is ≤3.3 mm at 980 nm. The company says the Telcordia-compliant fibers have high lot-to-lot uniformity.
