The ThinkEye TE-100 intelligent camera from JAI AS has a resolution of 659 x 494 pixels using a monochrome progressive-scan CCD sensor. The camera is housed in an anodized aluminum case sealed to IP65/NEMA 4X specifications, which makes it suitable for factory floor applications. It accepts standard C-mount lenses and offers digital input/output and RS-232 and -485 ports for direct control of external factory automation devices. The camera is configured and programmed via an Ethernet interface with a standard Web browser and is powered by Common Vision Blox image-processing software. Applications created with this software can run on the camera and on a PC platform. The TE-100 also includes Geo-Tools software with tools for various image-processing tasks.
