Request InfoEdmund Optics Inc.Edmund Industrial Optics has released a long-wave thermal camera for industrial and security applications. The heat-sensing device is sensitive from 8 to 14 µm and has a dynamic range of 66 dB. The sensing element and internal circuitry produce a 320 x 240 interpolated gray-scale image with 50-µm square pixels. The camera can operate as a stand-alone unit, or it can be controlled via an RS-232 connection. Software is included for controlling freeze frame averaging, image uploading, brightness, contrast and gamma correction. Two coated germanium lenses are available for the camera.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSVision-Spectra.com January 2024 IssueSWIR Megapixel CamerasThe Sens 1280 CxP and SDI from New Imaging Technologies are megapixel SWIR cameras created for industrial machine vision, semiconductor inspection, solar cell inspection, and wide-area surveillance...Photonics Spectra January 2023 IssueLaser ScannerThe Focus Core Laser Scanner from FARO® Technologies Inc. is designed for 3D capture in the construction, building operations, and public safety markets.
