Phoenix Photonics Ltd. offers depolarizers for polarization-dependent gain reduction in Raman amplifiers. The devices are designed to provide <5% degree of polarization with low insertion loss from a Raman pump laser. The wideband depolarizers operate at any wavelength in the 14XX range and can be used with a single high-power pump for randomized polarization or with a polarization multiplexer to randomize both polarization states.
