Tevidon CCD lenses that provide nearly distortion-free performance have been realeased by Docter Optics Inc. Suitable for 1/3-, 1/2-, 2/3- and 1-in. image formats, the lenses have six- or seven-element designs and are mounted in compact metal housings. They have focal lengths from 10 to 35 mm and speeds from ƒ/1.6 to ƒ/2.0 and are color-corrected for wavelengths from 400 to 1000 nm. The lenses have fixed or variable iris diaphragms with manual lock or click-stop adjustment. Extension tubes for magnification adjustment are available.
