Lambda Research Corp. has released version 6.2.2 of Oslo lens design software. It includes updated glass catalog data, improved thermal calculations in single and multiconfiguration systems and enhanced import translators for Code V and Zemax lens file formats. Among other improvements are aspheric ray-trace intersection calculations and ray-tracing options for user-defined sag surfaces. The online help system has been revised to document version updates. The software is available for users of Oslo 6.2 Light, Standard and Premium, and can be downloaded from the company's Web site.
