Reference flats composed of high-stability materials such as glass, Zerodur and silica are available from Optical Surfaces Ltd. Suitable for astronomy, laser beam steering and op-tical flatness testing, the optics have a surface accuracy of λ/30 pv and roughness of 10 Å rms on flats with diameters up to 600 mm. Optics with diameters up to 450 mm are provided with Fizeau interferometric test reports, and larger flats are quality-assured using the Ritchey-Common test procedure. Large specialist requirements and OEM quantities are offered.
