FREQUENCY SOURCE The PXI-5404 frequency source from National Instruments can simultaneously generate sine and clock outputs up to 100 MHz with 1.07-µHz resolution and ±0.2-dB sine-level accuracy. The device can be used for coherent sampling in automated test equipment systems and for sine-wave generation for basic analog stimulus. Clock output levels address both TTL and CMOS technologies. The source offers sine generation from 9 kHz to 100 MHz and clock generation from DC to 100 MHz with adjustable sine amplitude. Its other specifi-cations include 12-bit vertical resolution and ±0.2-dB sine-wave passband flatness.
