The Stan-SSH high-reflectivity specular reflectance standard is available from Ocean Optics Inc. The mirrored, fused-silica optical standard is designed as a reference for high-reflectivity surface measurements of optical substrates, coatings, machined metals and semiconductor materials. With an outer diameter of 1.25 in. and a height of 0.25 in., it can be used with the company's spectrometers, light sources and sampling accessories. The standard provides nearly 90% reflectance between 200 and 800 nm and 35% to 95% reflectance between 800 and 2500 nm.
