The Throttlemaster vacuum gate valve from Kurt J. Lesker Co. controls a vacuum gate to any position with an accuracy of ±0.002 in. The user positions the gate manually during process development from front-panel controls on the 1/4 DIN electronic chassis. The chassis accepts 0- to 10-V or 4- to 20-mA signals from a PLC or host computer and gives contact closures to indicate open and closed positions. The gate valves come in aluminum or stainless steel constructions with either ANSI or ISO flanges.
