The LTP-IV long trace profilometer enables users to characterize the figure and mid-frequency errors on cylindrical aspheres that are more than 1 m long. It measures the shape of aspheric optics, such as cylinders, toroids, ellipsoids and hyperboloids, and also can be used to test adaptive optics and mirror-bending mechanisms.
