FRAME GRABBER

Photonics Spectra
Sep 2003
Sensoray Co. Inc.Request Info

Sensoray has launched a jpeg frame grabber that combines the functions of a 16 X 4 video cross-point switch, frame grabber, hardware jpeg compression and digital I/O into one PCI board. The Model 617 has a capture rate of 30 fps for interlaced NTSC and 25 fps for PAL, as well as four real-time outputs and 32 digital I/O lines. It uses four decoders to minimize channel-to-channel switching delays and executes hardware jpeg compression to reduce the amount of memory needed to store images. It also incorporates a text overlay buffer for frame annotation, and uncompressed frames are available for external motion detection.
