Request InfoTower Optical Corp.Tower Optical Corp. has released a line of achromatic wave plates that cover the 465- to 610-nm, 700- to 1000-nm and 1200- to 1650-nm wavelengths, ranging from the visible to the IR. They have a clear aperture of 11.5 mm and are available, in all ranges, for both λ/4- and λ/2 retardation. Air-spaced versions are standard, and a cemented version is available by special order. The company says that the wave plates, fashioned out of crystal quartz and magnesium fluoride, maintain nearly constant retardation over the covered spectral range.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics.com 1/23/2024Radiometric DetectorsThe Silux-37xx Series from Gigahertz-Optik in collaboration with Oculus Photonics and HENSOLDT Optronics GmbH are silux radiometers made to measure ambient lighting conditions in an unambiguous...Promoted Content April 2024 IssueGermanium and Silicon Growth (CZ) and IR Optics ManufacturingFrom our beginnings in Bozeman, Montana to a globally recognized US-based manufacturer of silicon and germanium optics, Lattice Materials is a trusted partner for the most demanding and critical...Promoted Content December 2022 IssueCustom Large OpticsSydor Optics can fabricate and manufacture custom IR, UV, and visible windows in a variety of custom sizes, shapes, and substrates based on decades of experience in medical, defense, industrial and...BioPhotonics Jul/Aug 2023 IssueCooled sCMOS CamerasXimea’s MJ042MR-GP-P11-BSI-UV model was added to its portfolio of scientific cameras.
