Optial Surfaces Ltd. Compact tube collimators from Optical Surfaces Ltd. are based on the company's precision off-axis paraboloids, which use zero expansion for long-term stability. The units, fabricated in aluminum with matte black walls, can be athermalized to suit a variety of conditions, and the optics within them are prealigned in stress-free mounts. The company says that the devices maintain alignment while being transported. Precision mounts that provide a platform for off-axis, spherical or flat mirrors up to 250 mm in diameter complement the company's range of mounts for large optics.
