Semrock Inc. Semrock Inc. has introduced three thin-film filters to be used with 325-nm HeCd, 473-nm argon-ion or doubled Nd:YAG, and 1064-nm Nd:YAG lasers in Raman spectroscopy. The ultrasharp long-wave pass filters rely on ion-beam sputtering technology and the company's proprietary manufacturing tools to block the laser line with optical density of ≥=6, and they transmit the wavelengths that are only 1% longer than the laser line. The company says the performance of these Raman edge filters is highly reliable and stable.
