Ophir Optronics Inc. Ophir Optronics Inc. has introduced the PD300-BB, a photodiode-based detector head with a flat spectral response from 400 to 1000 nm, for power measurement of broadband light sources. Its dynamic range measures from 50 pW to 8 mW of power. The thin, low-profile head has a 10 X 10-mm aperture, with response time of 0.2 s and a low noise level of ±2 pW, making it suitable for use in radiometry. It is fully compatible with the company's Orion, Nova and Laserstar displays.
