The Lasiris low-speckle laser is designed for machine vision applications. It uses patented technology that reduces the speckle of a laser beam or projected pattern, thereby producing better images from laser light projected on the object under inspection. From StockerYale, it is available in many wavelengths, powers and pattern configurations. The company says its speckle reduction technology is fully static, maintains the spectral content of the laser beam and covers the 635- to 810-nm range.
