Basler AG Basler AG has announced the A102f, a megapixel IEEE-1394 camera that features gamma correction, color interpolation and white balancing. It operates at up to 15 fps at full 1392 X 1040 resolution and is available in monochrome and color versions. Applications include electronics and semiconductor inspection, microscopy, food and beverage monitoring and intelligent transportation systems. The camera can operate at up to 75 fps at lower resolution through variable areas of interest. The 6.45 X 6.45-µm sensor produces 3-dB sensitivity and a 6-dB signal-to-noise ratio, and a 12-bit ADC ensures high-quality images. The A102f has four digital input and output connectors. It is smaller and lighter than its predecessors, but mounting screws are compatible for easy interchange.
