The Maxline 2 thermal imaging camera from Ircon Inc. is designed to withstand harsh industrial environments. It is protected from corrosion and humidity by a sealed, stainless steel Nema-4 enclosure, and high-temperature cables and watertight connectors shield the output from interference. Internal focusing that is remotely controlled by proprietary software protects the moving parts. Hard-coated optics resist scratches and other external damage. Features include ambient temperature compensation, 14-bit digital video and output speeds of up to 60 fps. The camera is intended for use in process control, research and development, and quality assurance applications, and it can be connected to the industrial operator interface for those that require image capture from different angles.
