Zero- and Multiple-Order Wave PlatesFor more than a decade, Lambda has been manufacturing high-performance laser optics for both commercial and research applications. Our strong optical coating expertise is equally matched by our precision optical polishing eWave plates are a specialty at Lambda. We polish crystalline quartz to precise thickness using double-sided polishing machines. Low-loss antireflection coatings with a high threshold for laser damage are applied to the polished quartz for wavelengths from 266 to 2100 nm.

Both multiple-order and zero-order wave plates are available from Lambda. Zero-order wave plates are either cemented or air-spaced for use with higher-power lasers. Wave plates are supplied either unmounted or mounted in a metal housing for ease of integration into your laboratory setup. Standard sizes and wavelengths are available for quick delivery; custom wave plates are always affordable.
