The SmartScope MVP manual video measurement and inspection system from Optical Gaging Products Inc. comprises six benchtop models that have measurement ranges from 150 × 75 × 125 mm to 300 × 300 × 150 mm. Features include a zoom lens, a high-resolution color CCD camera and 1.0-µm linear scales. Manually operated X-Y-Z stages move on smooth bearings for accurate positioning. Measurements are processed by the Q-Check controller unit and displayed on a 13-in. color monitor. The optional InSight controller enables three-axis measurement. Applications include routine inspections, process development and monitoring, and critical measurements of a variety of parts.
