JAI Pulnix Inc. has launched the TM-1400 series AccuPixel CCD cameras. They capture 30 fps at full resolution and have a digital Camera Link and analog output to interface with frame grabbers. Available in monochrome and color, the miniature progressive-scan 1.4-megapixel cameras are based on a 1/2-in. image sensor and can reach shutter speeds of up to 1/16,000 s. Functions are externally controlled and can be reset asynchronously via the graphical interface. The incorporated look-up table provides fast 8- to 10-bit preprocessing for image enhancement.
