The AxoLite, a Mueller matrix polarimeter introduced by Axometrics Inc., completely characterizes the polarization properties of any optical sample. Featuring a dual rotating retarder design and proprietary AxoScan technology, the device connects to a PC via USB 1.1 or 2.0 to measure retardance and polarization-dependent loss at a rate of one sample per second. The two optical heads can be aligned or configured for transmission and reflection measurements, respectively. The AxoLite system is suitable for use in the laboratory and in industrial environments to measure retarders, wave plates, polarizers, depolarizers, beamsplitters, fiber optic devices, LCD components, optical assemblies and scattering samples.
