Designed for advanced nondestructive microspectral analysis, the QDI 202 quantum detection spectrophotometer from Craic Technologies combines high performance, durability and ease of use. It uses transmission, reflectance, fluorescence and polarization for analysis of samples as small as 1 µm, including crystals, living cells and minerals. The company says that the device's cooled scientific-grade CCD array detector takes measurements from the UV to the near-IR in as little as a millisecond with very low noise. Optional packages offer routines for sophisticated statistical analysis, thin-film measurement, instrument automation and NIST-traceable standards.
