GREEN LASER CRYSTALS Green Laser Cores from Photop Optics Inc. combine laser and nonlinear optical crystals to enable 532-nm output from 808-nm diode pump sources. Available in low- and high-power varieties, the crystals feature Nd:YVO4 or Nd:GdVO4 bonded to KTP, with or without epoxy. The low-power versions are suitable for the generation of up to 5 mW of green light for use in laser pointers. The high-power versions offer up to 60 mW of green light from 500 mW of pump radiation for laser display applications.
