Request InfoProPhotonix Ltd.StockerYale Inc. has announced its SM-1310-P1 polyimide-coated single-mode fiber for optical sensor systems that operate at between 1310 and 1550 nm in harsh environments within the oil and gas industries. Glass diameter is 125 µm, coating diameter is 155 µm and, because the coating is polyimide rather than acrylate, operating temperature is from –65 to 300 °C. In addition, this thin coating makes the fiber suitable for use in some medical devices, such as imaging catheters.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra July 2023 IssueIR Laser DiodeThe SPL PL90AT03 IR laser diode from ams OSRAM offers 75-W peak power and narrow 110-µm aperture for performance in long-distance lidar and time-of-flight sensing applications.
