Electrophysics Corp. has launched the Eztherm Pro camera, a thermography system in an IP-54-rated lightweight housing. A flip-out 3.8-in. LCD rotates to provide comfortable overhead and floor-level apparatus viewing. Features include voice recording, a 180-image memory card, up to 10 spot meters, an isotherm indicator, automatic brightness and contrast control, a 14-bit image format and advanced Li-ion batteries. The 320 X 240 microbolometer focal plane array has 76,800 pixels and produces <80 mK sensitivity. A 3X telephoto and a wide-angle lens are available for use with electrical cabinet viewing ports. The system comes with a FireWire real-time digital high-speed interface and ReportIR report-generating software. Applications include electrical and mechanical inspection, building and roofing inspection, and process monitoring.
