Gage Applied Technologies Inc. has released a digitizer for the PCI platform that operates at 200 megasamples per second, at 5-ns sampling intervals and with 14-bit resolution and ±0.5% accuracy. CompuScope 14200 is designed for scientific and commercial R&D and for manufacturing test applications. The front end of the card is software-controlled and provides two input channels via BNC connectors, with a variety of coupling, impedances and input ranges. Clock and trigger input and output signals, via SMA connectors, facilitate integration into a test system. The card comes with 32 megasamples of memory and can use 32-bit, 66-MHz PCI standards to transfer data at 200 MB/s. Programming-free operation is provided by GageScope oscilloscope software.
