SPECTROGRAPHS Headwall Photonics has added the VS25 and VS50 to its Hyperspec family of concentric imaging spectrographs. The VS25 operates from 400 to 1000 nm with 2- to 3-nm resolution, suitable for air- and spaceborne imaging, security and environmental sensing. The VS50 operates between 900 and 1700 nm with 10-nm spectral resolution, to perform noncontact, nondestructive, in situ measurements of pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, textiles and foods. The instruments feature prealigned optics and a robust housing that measures 5.0 × 6.0 × 4.0 in.
