Request InfoKMLabs Inc (Kapteyn-Murnane Laboratories)Kapteyn-Murnane Laboratories has unveiled Cascade, a cavity-dumped Ti:sapphire laser system. By incorporating an acousto-optic modulator into its cavity, it can extract high-intensity pulses and yield output pulse energies of more than 25 nJ. The repetition rate can be varied between 40 kHz and 2 MHz, and the laser can generate pulses as short as 15 fs or be operated at longer pulse durations and tuned in wavelengths higher than 100 nm. Applications for the Cascade include nonlinear microscopy, and ultrafast spectroscopy and laser micromachining.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSBioPhotonics May/Jun 2023 IssueKinetic Plate ImagerThe FDSS-GX kinetic plate imager from Hamamatsu Photonics KK is designed for kinetic cell-based assay development including G-protein-coupled receptors or ion channel research and screening for drug...BioPhotonics Sep/Oct 2023 IssueAI-Powered Microscope SoftwareLeica Microsystems’ Aivia 12 software provides AI-powered image analysis.
