Laser Diode Inc. has introduced a small-footprint pigtailed six-pin mini-DIL option for its 850-, 1310- and 1550-nm Fabry-Perot lasers and edge-emitting LEDs, and for its single-element 850-, 905- and 1550-nm pulsed lasers. Fiber types range from single-mode to 100-µm multimode with a maximum cladding diameter of 140 µm. Laser-welded fiber alignment and hermetic metallized fiber technology provide long-term reliability. The pins are arranged on 2.54-mm lead spacing and 7.62-mm center lines in DIL configuration. Leads also can be specified in a straight wing or butterfly profile.
