The concave cylindrical 5-mm (T13/4) discrete LEDs from LEDtronics Inc. emit light that is as bright at its edges as it is in the center. The lenses improve the quality of the light by spreading out the collimated beam that LEDs emit. The high-intensity LEDs are bright even in direct sunlight, making them suitable for applications such as backlighting, medical equipment and channel letters. They are available in green (525, 568 nm), cool white (8000 K), blue (461 nm), yellow (596, 585 nm), red (655, 660, 630 nm) and orange (606 nm).
