Designed to prevent background acoustic noise from disturbing delicate measurements and micromanufacturing processes, they are suitable for scanning-probe microscopes, interferometers and metrology instruments. The company says that the integrated steel and stainless steel enclosures' acoustic control techniques ensure optimal performance at difficult-to-isolate frequencies, including those below the human hearing threshold, and that they provide maximum attenuation in the 5- to 50-Hz frequency range. The enclosures are integrated with the proprietary active or passive vibration isolators and incorporate base frames, CleanTop II breadboards and RETMA racks.
